If you’ve invested in a high-efficiency filter or media cartridge, it only needs to be cleaned or changed once or twice a year—usually at the beginning of the heating and cooling seasons. What should the humidity level be in my home?

Ideally, humidity should be between 30 and 45 percent in the wintertime, and between 50 and 60 percent in the summertime.
